Q. How do I navigate around the Website?
A. To the left of here is a vertical bar marked 'Main Menu'.
Move your mouse arrow over this bar and a set of options will appear. Select an
option by pointing to it with your mouse arrow and press the left hand button on
the mouse.
Q. There seems to be too much information to fit on my screen. How can I see what's off to the right?
A. Your screen resolution needs to be set to 1024x768 for best viewing. To set your screen resolution right click on an empty area of your desktop, select Properties, select Settings and adjust screen resolution to 1024x768.
Q. How can I access the
Internal (Lodge Members Only) Website?
A. From the menu on the External Website select the 'Members' option. You will
be prompted to enter you userid and password (your password will appear as a
series of asterisks to assist with security). Once entered, point to the
'submit' button on the page and press left hand button on the mouse.
Q. How can I find out what my userid and/or password is?
You should have already received your userid and password from the Lodge
Secretary. If you can access the members login page and can remember your userid,
there is an option to have your Password sent to your e-mail address.
Alternatively, you can select the 'e-mail' option from the external site menu
and request your details from the Webmaster. If you cannot access the website,
please request your details by contacting the secretary or by sending an e-mail
to
webmaster@lodge9663.org.uk
Q. How can I print from the web site?
A. The web site pages are built in frames (or sections) and selecting
File->Print from the browser may give you unhelpful results. If you are
interested in printing only the information in the main window (ie the
information on the bottom right hand side of the screen) then point at it with
your mouse arrow and press the RIGHT hand button on your mouse once. Point at
the 'Select all' option from the window that appears and then select File->Print
from the main browser options.
Q. How can I feed back comments and suggestions for the website?
Choose 'E-mail' from the 'Main Menu' bar on the left hand side of the page.
